Cheyanne

Cheyanne is a farm girl from Northern New Mexico where she was born and raised. She moved to the

Albuquerque area in 2008 and began attending Central New Mexico Community College for an

Associate’s degree in Veterinary Technology the following year. She graduated from CNM in 2011 and

went on to pass the state and national exams to become a Registered Veterinary Technician in the state

of New Mexico the same year. Cheyanne began her career at NWAC in March of 2012.

At home, Cheyanne has a wonderful husband, their son and dogs. She grew up aroundanimals and loves working with animals.

For her, life without animals is unimaginable. To see the

appreciation and love animals give, gives her great satisfaction in her heart to know that she can help

them when they need it.

Megan

Megan has been associated with NWAC since 2005. She has served in various roles throughout her decades here. Cats are her favorite animal and she resides in Albuquerque with her husband, children, cats, dogs and a gecko.

Brittney

Brittney was born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She realized from a very young age that she

loves animals and wanted to be a voice for those that have none. This spurred her into pursuing a

career in the veterinary field. After high school Brittney attended the University of New Mexico where

she graduated with a Bachelor’s in Biology. She soon realized she had a passion for wildlife rehab and

went on to complete a Wildlife Rehabilitation Certificate. After, she volunteered at Wildlife Rescue of

New Mexico for one year until she became part of the NWAC in March of 2014.

Brittney finds great joy in loving each and every animal that comes into the clinic, big or small, furry or

feathery. She especially enjoys interacting with the reptilian creatures we see.

Outside of the NWAC family, she lives with her adventurous and fun loving husband, their fluffy kitty

named T-Spoon, and their yellow-scaled Banana Ball Python named Naners. She enjoys traveling,

outdoor activities, health/fitness, and teaching fourth graders at bible study.

Clarissa

My name is Clarissa Gutierrez, and I am currently a veterinary assistant at NWAC. I have been living in Albuquerque for three years now. I recently graduated from Central New Mexico Community College, where I received an associates in applied science in veterinary technology. I plan to take the VTNE and become a registered veterinary technician. 

Debbie

Debbie has worked for Northwest Animal Clinic since 1983. She became a Registered Veterinary Technician in 1979.

She enjoys all aspects of patient care, but is particularly drawn toward assisting in all areas of pet

surgeries.

Debbie and her husband have been doting dog parents for many years and even met each

other when she cared for his famous dog, Garbanzo.

Tori

Tori has worked for Northwest Animal Clinic for fifteen years. She first started coming here as a client in

1995. She has always loved and enjoyed animals in her life. The most exotic animals she has had are a

pet fox and deer while growing up as a child.

Tori’s true passion is her family. She has a wonderful husband and two beautiful

children. She enjoys family, camping, fishing, and boating. Most of all she loves to enjoy time with her family

Yvette

Yvette is an Albuquerque native. She joined the NWAC family in 2016. She feels very blessed to work

with animals and their owners alongside a great team of co-workers. In her spare time she enjoys

spending time with her wonderful husband, lovely daughter, and super cute fur baby Paisley. Some of

her favorite hobbies are running, shopping, and watching movies.
